Why Has Obama Won?
-
President Obama has won the seat as President of the US for two simple reasons.
First, John Mccain lost the election by not standing up, being a true leader and telling the people won’t they DON’T want to hear. He should have taken a lesson from Ron Paul who while being a little “flighty” with his presentation has the right idea about our economy.
Next many people of this nation have become parasites of the host, the government. However, many of you simply won’t understand this point for many years to come.
Benjamin Franklin said, “When the people figure out a way to vote themselves benefits, (money) our great republic will come to an end.”
What did he mean by this? Quite simply we do not live in a democracy, we live in a republic. Our republic is controlled by the constitution and laws. Just because the “majority” believes something should happen, does not mean it can or should happen.
The majority does not have the voice to override the rights of the few. Just because “Frank” owns an H2 hummer and everyone thinks he is selfish by using too much gas, he has the right to own it and drive it as long as he does not break any laws. The “many” can not “impose their will” on the few.
In this country the majority of people USE TO BE responsible. They use to wake up in the morning go to work, pay for their health insurance, make sure their kids were doing their homework and all the while seeking a better life and more income by working hard in system that allowed them to succeed and be rewarded based on their own efforts.
Now a growing number believe that the “government” should be the keeper of economic justice, fairness and the right to “have”.
When the President of the United States says “health care should be a right in this country” we are headed down a long and horrible road ahead.
I believe food and shelter are more important than health insurance. I believe that owning a car to get to work is more important than having health insurance.
So, shouldn’t they be a right before healthcare?
Our country will no longer be the same place where one could succeed.
Our government will decide what is “fair” for those that succeed to keep.
